Saturday, November 29th, Equinox Valley Nursery, Santa’s Visit is Saturday, November, 29th from 11:30AM to 2:30PM. The Christmas Open House is Saturday, November 29th from 8:30AM to 5:00PM & Sunday, November 30th from 9AM to 4PM.
Tree Lightings: Saturday, November 29th, join us on the Green in downtown Manchester at 5PM for the Tree Lighting in conjunction with Manchester Designer Outlet’s lighting at The Marble Mill (next to the Green). Sunday, November 30th, Manchester Park & Rec Center. Inside tree lighting with an appearance by Santa! Festivities begin at 2PM. Free and open to the public. Refreshments.
Hildene Decks the Halls for 1912 Christmas. December 5 – January 1, Christmas Eve 1912 … festive décor, carols on Aeolian pipe organ, musicians on many weekend days. Annual “Our Home for the Holidays” open house at The Museum Store, Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7. www.hildene.org/calendar.html or call 802.362.1788.

Wine Tastings, November 29th, at The Barrows House, 3-5PM, December 6th at The Perfect Wife, 3-5PM and December 13th at Gringo Jack’s, 3-5PM. Tickets are $10/person and may be purchased online, at the participating restaurant on the day of the event, or at The Manchester Chamber office.

Annual Lighted Tractor Parade, downtown Manchester, Saturday, December 6th, 5PM. Please plan on being on or near The Roundabout at approximately 5PM for the best viewing!

Children’s Concert, Sunday, December 28th, 4-6PM. Family Holiday Concert at the Wilburton Inn with co-innkeeper Melissa Levis, who entertained 10,000 kids a year in New York City with her band, Moey’s Music Party! Join the interactive family singalong. Instruments provided for all guests. Cookies, tea, and children’s drinks & cash bar. $15 pp. Children under 2 free. Please call 802-362-2500 to RSVP.
Backroad Discovery “Merriment” Tours, Discover the cheer, nostalgia & beauty of the Vermont backroads during the holiday season. Visit; the oldest marble quarry in the U.S., quintessential VT villages, Vermont’s finest artisans’ boutique, a Norma Rockwell exhibit, an antique covered bridge, sweeping mountain valley vistas and more. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase local VT products, maple syrup, cheeses, etc. Learn the fascinating history, fun facts & other places to visit/things to do in our area. Travel in 10 – passenger tour vehicle with local guide. $35 pp.

Downton Abbey Premerie Party, Saturday, January 3, 6:30-10p.m. $40. Dress up in your sparkles & tux and go back in time for a Downton Abbey Party in our own country manor at the Wilburton Inn! Manchester Designer Outlets and Manchester Music Festival join the Wilburton Inn for a glamorous evening of music, dancing, delicious hors d’oeuvres to celebrate the start of season five of the award-winning hit, Downton Abbey. A portion of the Manchester Merriment proceeds benefits seven area food cupboards. In 2013, The Manchester Chamber donated over $3,500 to area non-profits.
